As part of the establishment of the NTUCAM, the US Economic Development Administration and the Navajo Nation Department of Economic Development have contributed to the design and construction of a new 6,000 sq ft Metrology and Material Testing building that will house certfied labs for education, research and services. This building will essentially double the facilities for housing the NTUCAM and provide working labs for students to learn and work. The Metrology and Material Testing building will include an educational metrology lab as well as a research metrology lab, a material testing lab, and advanced manufacturing training space. The building is currently in the design phase at the moment.
